Sorry - have been totally hopeless! we seem to have been so busy that I've just not managed to update on here :(

Anyway, the highlight of the last 10 days have to be our trip to London last friday. Lucy ans Izzy had a teacher training day so Jim took the day off work and we went on out big adventure! The big girls were very excited, as it was the first time on the train and tube for both of them. They wanted to see every London site they'd ever heard of, but we only managed a few - saving the rest for next time!

We started off by getting the train to Euston the the tube to Embankment. We walked along by the Thames (first 'site' ticked off the list!) down to the London Eye...



then we went and saw the Houses of Parliament and stopped to listen to Big Ben chime at 11am....



then we walked to Buckingham palace, via St James park where we watched the squirrels...



we were in time for changing the guard at Buckingham palace, which was very busy!



after that we marched (left, right, left, right.....) across Green Park to the tube and on to South Kensington and the Natural History Museum. We spent the rest of the afternoon there exploring dinosaurs, mammals, marine fossils, invertebrates, minerals, meteorites, the earthquake machine, volcanoes.....



and the cafe in the basement for a much needed caffeine break! We made out way back to Euston by 5pm completely exhuasted! takeaway for tea again :)

I've also realised I've not uploaded any scrapping LOs for ages - bad me! will try and get back later but have ahd enough fighting with blogger's upload thing right now!.

Monday again!

nearly a whole week since I last blogged! been busy tidying house, moving furniture about to make space for the builders. Have now moved all the computer into the lounge again, which is weird when me and Jim are using them as we're now sat next to each other again, not two floors apart! He's complaining about the silly noises my games make and I'm complaining about the rocket fire and grenades on day of defeat (or whatever shooty game it is he's playing this week!). Both of us are complaining about the scooby doo and teletubbies websites which are on the kids PC next to us!




looks like we need to order some headphones......

I don't feel like sleeping!

never mind dancing, today Zoe just will not sleep :(

I put her down for her nap as normal after lunch. Left her a couple of minutes then went to check she'd fallen asleep.... nope, she's undone her dungarees and thrown Teddy out onto the floor and is stood up rattling her cot bars :( So I do her dungarees back up, fetch Teddy, lie them both down and try again.

A couple more minutes pass and all has gone quiet :) try to tiptoe past to go and make a cuppa, and there she is - sat up in her cot having undone her dungarees again(sigh) concentrating hard on putting her funky pink flowery nappy on Teddy! yup, nappy free baby sat in cot - eek!

So I put her nappy back on and some trousers, thinking maybe those will stay on longer than the dungarees! and try again with the sleep thing. A few more minutes pass. Odd noises come from the bedroom, so off I go to investigate.....

Well good news is the trousers have stayed on :) bad news is her top has come off, she's worked out how to escape from the cot, she's got out, opened the curtains, put the clock radio on, left the room and is sat on the floor in her sisters' bedroom playing with their Barbie dolls!

I changed it last night to a picture of Zoe playing on the teletubbies website on my computer

Alpen (no added sugar) with milk and a sliced banana

Music, definately. Can't remember the last time I watched TV by choice (I quite often get to watch Maisy or the Teletubbies though!)

9: Worst out fit you have ever worn?
I remember a particularly bad polyester dress from when I was about 6. Nasty pattern, hideous colours and really scratchy!

10: Where do you feel most at peace?
In bed under my lovely thick winter duvet :)

I did it! I completed Shimelle's course by the end of September :D it was *very* later last night, but I finished the last LO before going to bed - wow!
